The Route Path:
VA-155 starts at VA-249 about 1.4 miles west of New Kent. The route heads south in a straight line, until it reaches I-64, which is concurrent with VA-33. Just after the interchange, VA-155 intersects SR-1110, Kentland Trail. VA-155 continues south through rural New Kent County. About 3.5 miles later, the route reaches Providence Forge. In Providence Forge, VA-155 intersects US 60, and almost immediately takes a sharp left, followed by a sharp right. Shortly after, it crosses the Chickahominy River into Charles City County.
After entering Charles City County, VA-155 continues through rural areas, before going past many houses. Just before reaching Charles City, the route goes past the Charles City High School. VA-155 then meets VA-5 at Charles City, ending the route, though the road continues through Charles City as SR-644, before returning to VA-5.
My Experiences:
I have been on VA-155 between VA-249 and US 60. The part between I-64/VA-33 and SR-1110 is very, very familiar to me.
