The Route Path:
VA-245 starts at an intersection with VA-55 in The Plains. The route goes southwest through the southern portion of the town, having an interchange with I-66 shortly after. After the interchange with I-66, VA-245 continues south through rural areas, before entering Old Tavern. The route goes through Old Tavern, before reaching its southern terminus at US 17. The road continues west as Enon Church Road.
