Interstate 464 runs from I-264 just south of Downtown Norfolk to I-64 and US 17 in Chesapeake. The interstate connects Downtown Norfolk and Portsmouth to Downtown Chesapeake.

I-264 to I-64:
I-464 starts just south of the Elizabeth River in Norfolk at I-264, and has an exit with Berkley Avenue. After the exit, I-464 enters Chesapeake. Shortly after, the interstate has an interchange with VA-337, which leads to US 460. The interstate goes on for a little while before having an exit for Freeman Avenue.
The interstate crosses over US 460 without an exit, right before having an exit with US 13, which leads to US 460. I-464 goes over Campestella Road, before having an interchange with I-64, US 17, and VA-168, which continues through Chesapeake as I-464 ends at this interchange.
