Virginia State Route 13 is a road that goes from US 60 and VA-45 just east of Cumberland, back to US 60 in Plain View. The route follows US 60 nearly the entire length. The route also shares a number with US 13, but is unrelated.

The Route Path:
VA-13 begins just east of Cumberland at an intersection with US 60. The route passes through some rural areas as Old Buckingham Road, intersecting Northfield Road, which leads to VA-45 at the east end of its concurrency with US 60. After the intersection, VA-13 passes through more rural areas, and passes through a couple of small communites before reaching SR-681 in Tobaccoville.
East of Tobaccoville, VA-13 passes through the small community of Ballsville, and heads east through more rural areas. Shortly after, the route goes through the small community of Belona, where the route intersects Old Tavern Road. After Belona, VA-13 goes thorugh the small community of Macon, where it intersects SR-609.
After, VA-13 heads north back towards US 60, and intersects SR-1002, a southern extension of US 522. After the intersection, VA-13 runs right next to US 60, before entering Powhatan. In Powhatan, the route meets the south end of VA-300. After leaving the CDP, the route starts heading back towards US 60, meeting it in Plain View, where VA-13 meets its eastern end.
