The Route Path:

VA-9 starts on the Blue Ridge Mountains right at the VA-WV State Line. The route heads through the mountains, and descends down the mountain. After leaving the mountain, VA-9 goes through some rural farm areas. After a couple miles, the route goes through a small mountain range and goes through Hillsboro.

The route continues through more rural areas after leaving Hillsboro. Shortly after, VA-9 intersects SR-611, and the route continues eastwards toward Wheatland, where it intersects VA-287. After the intersection, the route continues on in a southeast alignment, expands to four lanes and meets SR-662, which leads to Waterford. Just after SR-662, VA-9 meets it's end at VA-7 at a Dumbbell Interchange.

My Experiences:

I have never been on VA-9.
