The Route Path:
VA-223 begins at VA-198 in Hudgins. The route goes east out of the community, before turning north. Shortly after turning north, VA-223 crosses Milford Haven, using a drawbridge. Shortly after, the route reaches its end at SR-633. VA-223 continues through the island as the secondary route.
