The Route Path:
VA-26 starts at US 60 just east of the James River, east of Gladstone. The route goes south, through rural northwestern Appomattox County. VA-26 intersects many secondary routes, before reaching Oakville, where the route intersects SR-608.
The route continues south past Oakville, before reaching Appomattox and widening to a 4-lane divided road. VA-26 meets US 460 and VA-24 at a diamond interchange, where VA-26 reaches its southern terminus. The road continues east through the town as Business US 460, reconnecting with US 460 on the other side of the town.
My Experiences:
I have never been on VA-26.
