Virginia State Route 38 is a road that goes from Business US 360 in Amelia Court House to VA-153 in Scotts Fork. The route connects Amelia Court House and Scotts Fork.

The Route Path:
VA-38 starts at an intersection with Business US 360 in the CDP of Amelia Court House. The route heads south on Virginia Street, before immediately turning east onto Court Street, and turning south onto Washington Street. VA-38 turns east again, onto Church Street, before turning back south onto Five Forks Road.
The route curves southwest before turning east at its intersection with SR-614. VA-38 passes through rural forested areas for about 6 miles before reaching its eastern terminus at VA-153 in the community of Scotts Fork. The road continues east from the intersection as SR-602, continuing to near Colonial Heights.
