Virginia State Route 598 is a road that goes from WV-598 at the VA-WV State Line, to I-77 and US 52 just south of the East River Mountain Tunnel. The route goes E-W, but is signed as N-S.

The Route Path:
VA-598 starts at the Virginia-West Virginia State Line on East River Mountain as a continuation of WV-598. The route heads east, going down the side of the mountain, running beside the state line. After about 3.5 miles of descending the mountain, VA-598 quits its descent, and reaches its end at an interchange with I-77. The road continues south as US 52.
