Virginia State Route 34 is a short road that goes from VA-129 to US 360, running entirely in the town of South Boston, in Halifax County. The route uses Hodges Street for its entire 0.54 mile length.

The Route Path:
VA-34 begins at an intersection with VA-129 in the town of South Boston. The route heads east through residential areas, intersecting numerous residential streets. After the intersection with South Avenue, VA-34 loses its sidewalk and descends down a hill.
Once the route reaches the bottom of the hill, it reaches its eastern end at an intersection with US 360. The road itself continues east as Eastover Street, becoming SR-919 as it leaves South Boston.
My Experiences:
I have never been on VA-34. Also, I have my own comment on this route; it shouldn't have a 2 digit number. An ideal number would be 334, but that's taken. 248, and 260 are both open.
