VA-125

Virginia State Route 125 is two (unconnected) roads that go from VA-10 and VA-32 in Chuckatuck to VA-337 in Driver. The part of the route over the Nansemond River has been closed since 2005, and was torn down in 2007.

The Route Path:

VA-125 starts at an intersection with VA-10/32 in Chuckatuck, which is a neighborhood of Suffolk. The route heads east, shortly before curving southeast at an intersection with Crittenden Road. Shortly after, VA-125 curves directly south at its intersection with Ferry Point Road. The route continues south through some rural areas, before reaching a sudden dead end just north of the Nansemond River.

The Other Side:

VA-125 picks back up on the other side of the river, curving to the east. The route passes by some fields and houses, before eventually reaching an intersection with Sleepy Hole Road. VA-125 continues southeast, passing through some wooded areas.

Eventually, the route has an intersection with Bennetts Pasture Road. VA-125 continues east from here, entering the neighborhood of Driver. Shortly after, the route reaches its eastern end at an intersection with VA-337.

My Experiences:

I have never been on either segment of VA-125.
