Virginia State Route 148 is a route that goes from I-77 just northwest of Fancy Gap to US 52 in Fancy Gap. The route gives Fancy Gap an interstate connection.

The Route Path:
VA-148 begins at a diamond interchange with I-77 on the border of the community of Fancy Gap. The route heads northeast as a 4 lane divided highway, shrinking to 2 lanes just after an intersection with SR-697. Just after completing the shrink to 2 lanes, VA-148 passes by a gas station with a restaurant and a garage, before curving to the northeast as the route reaches its eastern terminus at an intersection with US 52.

I have never been on or near VA-148.
