The Route Path:
I-395 starts at I-95 and I-495 at the famous Springfield Interchange in Springfield. Just after, it has an exit with SR-648. It passes by Lincolnia, before an exit with VA-236 and SR-613. I-395 has an interchange with Seminary Road, followed by an interchange with VA-7, before entering Arlington County. The interstate also meets the terminus of VA-402.
Just after VA-402, the interstate has an interchange with VA-120. I-395 also meets VA-28 as it goes by the Arlington National Cemetery. The interstate has a large exit for Pentagon City, VA-110, and US 1, which US 1 goes concurrent with I-395 into Washington.
I-395 and US 1 enter Washington on the 14th Street Bridge. Just after entering the DC Mainland, US 1 splits from I-395. The interstate has multiple exits for streets in DC, before meeting I-695 and turning left. After I-395 leaves I-695, it enters a tunnel. It has one last exit before reaching its end at US 50, New York Avenue.
My Experiences:
I have been on I-395 once, on my 4/21/24 trip to Nationals Park in Washington, DC.
