VA-151

VA-151 is a road that goes from US 250 east of Afton to US 29 north of Amherst. It is known for the amount of breweries it passes by, and is a big part of Nelson County's tourism industry.

The Route Path:

VA-151 starts at a roundabout with US 250 just east of the community of Afton, in Albemarle County. The route heads southwest as Critzer Shop Road, passing by multiple breweries, as VA-151 enters Nelson County.

After entering Nelson County, VA-151 goes through some rural areas, before meeting VA-6 in Avon. The two routes go south on a concurrency through part of rural Nelson County. The routes go through the community of Greenfield, before VA-6 splits from VA-151, which goes southwest.

Shortly after the end of the VA-6 concurrency, VA-151 reaches the CDP of Nellysford. The route passes through the community, before continuing southwest through more of Nelson County. Not long after, VA-151 intersects SR-664, which goes west towards Wintergreen Resort. Shortly after the intersection, the route passes through Brent Gap, before continuing through rural areas.

The route crosses the Tye River, before intersecting VA-56, which goes south on a concurrency with VA-151. The two routes continue south for about 2.5 miles, before VA-56 splits off to go east towards Colleen, and later, Lovingston.

Not very long after the southern VA-56 split, the route crosses the Piney River, entering Amherst County. The route turns to the south, as it passes through rural Amherst County. VA-151 passes through the community of Clifford, before intersecting and meeting its south end at US 29.

My Experiences:

I don't know if I've ever been on VA-151. However, I have passed both of its ends numerous times before.
