The Route Path:

VA-262 starts at an intersection with VA-254 northeast of Staunton. The route goes west, widening to 4 lanes as it approaches a diamond interchange with I-81. After the interchange, the route goes back to 2 lanes, as it has an intersection with US 11. VA-262 continues west, having an intersection with SR-613, and shortly after, SR-742.

After the intersection, the route curves to the southwest, as it becomes a super two freeway. VA-262 has a diamond interchange with US 250, followed by another diamond interchange with SR-720. As the freeway turns eastbound, it remeets VA-254, at a diamond interchange. After heading east past the southern edges of Staunton, VA-262 has an interchange with VA-252.

After the interchange, the freeway widens to 4 lanes, and has a half cloverleaf interchange with SR-613, followed by an interchange with US 11. VA-262 curves south, and reaches its southern end at I-64/I-81 at a trumpet interchange.

My Experiences:

I have only been on VA-262 about 2 or 3 times, all of which were around 2019-2020.
