Thanksgiving has passed and it is the month of Christmas (or December), the final month of the year and the last chance for Road-geeks to give themselves new road and county clinches. Welcome to the 10th Blog Post of the year, the final one of 2024. Multiple parts of this post are optimistic for the upcoming year and what it has in store.
Unfortunately, I have decided not to add a topic for my travels in November 2024, due to there being almost none. Hopefully December will be better.
I do have some good news though for the new topics:
Two Year Anniversary:
Hunty Roads turns 2 years old on December 12!! Like last year, I will spend a major part of the day creating content for this site, plus the NC Site.
It will have been an amazing 2 years that the site has been around, and I have learned a lot from developing and making stuff on here. Thank you all for being here on Hunty Roads and checking out this Road Website/Blog, and thank you to Blogger for making the creation of this site possible.
Posts/Pages of November 2024:
I have published two Route Posts in November, mainly to release more content in the Hunty Roads birth month of December. Multiple pages/posts have been created, but only these two actually got published so far:
Secondary Route Posts:
Nothing lasts forever. I have long known that someday, every route in Virginia will have its own Route Post here. As a result, for this Monthly Blog Post, I have decided to start making these pages for the Secondary Routes in the state, increasing the lifespan of this important part of Hunty Roads by a lot.
There will be a new table for Secondary Routes on the Routes Page in the next couple of days, which more and more will have their own pages. Clicking on the route will take you to a page with an overview of the number and another table. The table will have (future) clickable links with county names, which will take you to the page for that county's version of the route. If the route number continues through county lines, then both of those county links will go to the same unified page.
Monthly Trip %:
For the final lists of 2024, I have turned the first list into my early predictions for 2025 like I said I might at the end of last month's post. Note that this isn't a full list, which that full list will come on next month's post on January 1, 2025.

Next Month's Post & Sendoff:
Expect multiple new topics for the new year, including a 2024 review before I turn the entire focus on 2025. I also hope to bring back the Monthly Travels part of the post, as I expect some travelling this month (Looking at you Waynesboro).
Now for the final fun fact of 2024... VA-286 (Fairfax County Parkway) used to be numbered SR-7100 until 2012, and VA-289 (Franconia-Springfield Parkway) was SR-7900 also until 2012..
